Anisopteroid Large Swoop Earrings with soft translucent spines

This pair of earrings has a cluster of five long, clear, spines which remind me of the wings of a dragonfly and inspired the name, which comes from Anisoptera, an infraorder of insects which includes dragonflies and damselflies. The black spines of the "tail" jut out at alternating angles to mimic the look of a dragonfly's tail, also.

Earrings are rubber over an aluminum core, so the spines won't hurt you when you wear them. They are durable, yet extremely lightweight! Pieces have approximately a 3 1/2 inch long ornament, plus approximately a 0.5 inch ear wire. Total hang from your piercing to the bottom of the piece is about 4 inches. Ear wires are Hypoallergenic surgical stainless steel. Sterling silver earwires are also available upon request.
